BOSTON —The Massachusetts Department of Public Health reported an additional 515 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, bringing the statewide total to 9,178.
There were 14,310 new molecular tests conducted, with an approximately 3.60% daily positive rate. This is the highest the daily positive COVID-19 test rate has been in Massachusetts since June 9, when it was 4.29%.

There were 17,966 new molecular tests conducted, with an approximately 5.49% daily positive rate.
