JAY-Z and Meek Mills criminal justice reform organization REFORM Alliancea group headed up by CEO Van Jonescelebrated its first major legislative victory tonight as California Governor Gavin Newsom signed AB 1950 into law. The new law, which was pushed forward in a campaign led by REFORM, will limit adult probation sentence maximums to one year for misdemeanors and two years for felonies.
